Southern New England Regional Conference for Dual Language Programs The purpose of this conference is to create the opportunity for dual language educators to network and collaborate, increase our professional development, share instructional methods that promote bilingualism and multiculturalism, disseminate current research, and learn new ways to reach out to families and communities. This conference is a wonderful example of building relationships with colleagues in the field of dual language education throughout the region to address our common goals. Inviting bilingual students of all ages from across New England to share with others why it is important to them to be bilingual and bicultural, and how it has shaped their lives. They can express this through works of art or writing. All entries will be displayed at the 2019 Southern New England Regional Dual Language Conference at the Nathanael Greene School in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on Saturday, March 23, 2019.
